Today, I am thankful for my sister!  I’m actually thankful for her every day, but since today is her birthday, I’m even more thankful!  And I wish her a VERY Happy Birthday and many more to come!!

I’m thankful that I was able to leave work on time in order to meet up with my sister and take her to dinner for her birthday.  And I’m thankful that she liked her birthday gifts!!  I really liked the laugh she had when she opened one gift.  It was the book, The Wonky Donkey!  See, my sister and I had seen a video of a Scottish Grandmother reading that to her infant grandson.  It was hysterical!  So I knew my sister would get a good chuckle from that gift!  

I’m thankful for my new gloves that I got the last time I was at Costco!  They came in very handy (no pun intended) today!

And, as always, I am thankful for my family, and my close friends who are like family!
